Day 11- I'm sorry I've been neglecting you

Over the last couple weeks we've been moving our two houses into one.... so I've been neglecting my blogging responsibilities... we finish up on Wednesday with the stuff from my house!!  This is a picture of our mantle.  :-)  That's my family and a guitar signed by Joan Jett from when Joe's band opened for her.  Rock on....

Day 11- It's OURS!!

It's our's!!! We got the call yesterday and we are moving in over the last month- but hopefully we will be essentially moved in next week.  I can't wait to show the kids!!

Day 10- A Dream is a wish your heart makes...

So... we might get this house... to rent, not own... it's not official until tomorrow and I'm nervous... I'm pretty sure they're just checking the references as a formality and we have it, but I'm very hopeful.  :-D  If we do get it I will post a better picture tomorrow... (maybe I'll give you a bonus pic on top of it...)

Day 9- Because we Parkour

Joe and I are learning the beauty of Parkour... we bought the best Parkour shoes--- Feiyues.... He has the high tops and I have the low tops... :-D  We're adorable...

Day 8- Kissy Kissy

It's really uncommon for me to rock the lipstick, but today was a special day... I "rockabilly"'d it up a little bit because we were going to go to the roller derby.... unfortunately we weren't able to make it.... BUT... I didn't miss an opportunity to plant a big smacker on my favorite man's head..... :-*

Day 7- New Haircut

I've been trying to let my hair grow out as of late... I want to be sure to have enough hair to be able to do something with it at the wedding.  :-D  HOWEVER.... it was driving me INSANE!!!!!!!  I finally talked to Joe and he told me to just go get it cut... I was going to go to Walmart, but he suggested a place downtown called "Wild Hair" I'm really pleased with the results!!

Day 6- Yes... the baby is wearing rain boots to bed

So.... what can I say.... Silas got his toe stuck between the two pieces of wood in the bed tonight... it was a really scary experience because I couldn't get it to come out... I finally ended up yelling for Joe and waking him up.... got Silas' toe out right before Joe came running in.... I think maybe Silas felt he needed toe-tal protection ;-) poor kid.... He's wearing rain boots to bed tonight.

Day 5- My Stick Figure Family

So today I was bored.... and I decided to draw a stick figure picture of my family... here's the photo of it... :-)  Aren't they lovely?

Day 4- My Invitations are Here!!

This was such drama.... I ordered these invitations over a week ago and they were supposed to be here last Friday... unfortunately due to serious snow they got stuck in Nashville... this was understandable........ however.... yesterday when they were in my town and it was 75 degrees outside and I got a notification saying "Adverse Weather Conditions have effected this package and delivery time will be delayed" it caused me to wonder..... did he get stuck in a puddle of sunshine?  They're here today though and I've already got them stuffed and in the mail!! YAY!!

Day 3- Me and My Valentine

I was so focused in Valentine's Day goodness that I neglected posting my picture from yesterday.... so here you go:

My funny Valentine.... in the pic before this he closed his eyes and I gave him a hard time about it... so.... he's got the wide-eyes in this one.  This is the love of my life... and I'm so glad that he is my forever Valentine... :-)  I'm going to marry that man soon....

Day 2- An Early Valentines Day

Joe got home this morning and woke me up with long stemmed tiger lilies... I realize they're not roses, but they mean so much more.  I told him when we first started dating that my favorite flower was tiger lilies and it hasn't come up that much since then... he remembered... that's so special!!  :-D  He also got me a box of Kashi Go Lean Cereal in lieu of chocolates... he's looking out for me :-)  I love my Valentine...

Day 1- Alone time with Silas

So I have chosen today as the day to begin my adventure... So here is today's photo:

2 year old Ladies of the world eat your heart out... this is my little heart breaker, Silas.  Ok I know.. enough with the heart jokes we get it... :-)  Silas is my soon-to-be stepson (1 of 3 stepchildren I'll soon have)  he's the youngest and today we got to hang out all day just the two of us.  This picture is of us going to a "decorate your own cookie" thing at Whole Foods... we didn't do a lot of decorating as you can see, but boy was that cookie good.... well at least from the way he inhaled it I would assume it was delicious... :-)
